I hated the secrecy and the hiding. I hated that I was becoming someone I didn't even like. I wanted so desperately to wake up one day to the [man] I first met, with this terrible nightmare behind us. I wanted to reclaim the cheerful, funny, lighthearted, deeply transparent and honest [person] I had always been.
